He filled the shovel with one more scoop of wet dirt and dropped it over that spot. “Good enough.” Max pierced the soggy ground with the shovel’s blade and wiped the mud off his face with the back of his forearm. “That will teach you to look down at me.” He chuckled at the irony, grabbed the shovel by the shaft, and crossed the driveway to the house.
Darryl Sims, a long forgotten murderer, has been locked up in a maximum security prison for the last twenty years. When the property is excavated, skeletal remains of women that have gone missing over the years are exposed.
Max is now on the run with Jade Monroe closing in. Worthy adversary that he is, Max eludes capture and continues his killing spree.
